Homemade Author exists for both.

The writing you do—
Bring your work into the world.
WRITE

PUBLISH

PROMOTE
Help that book find the readers who need it.
More writing, publishing, and promotional resources are taking shape.
The writing for you—
Three Pieces of Healing Poetry
Before Homemade Author had a name for this, I experienced it myself. Nobody’s Words began with a simple commitment: write 500 words a day for 90 days. I wasn’t trying to write my way toward healing. I was trying to finally finish something.
But the more I wrote, the more the words began showing me—about my past, my thinking, the life I was living, and the person I wanted to become.
These three pieces came from that journey. Read them slowly. See what they bring up in you.
THE WOUND
Internal Words
I breathe deep, Letting the thoughts spill onto the page, Where they lose their power And I find my own. Rational words, Spoken in silence, Become my anchor. Each line, A conversation within, A pathway To understanding What lives beneath the noise. Therapy, Not in the talking, But in the writing— In the way my internal words Unravel the knots I couldn’t untie alone.

THE TURN
Some See It
Our minds—more controllable than we dare to believe. The road, the path, the journey, Never truly a mystery, Always right under our noses. Some see it; some do not. Some glimpse it, then lose it, Like a firefly flickering on a North Woods July night.

THE WAY FORWARD
The Open Door
That creative door— wide open, releasing value into the world. Each word a gift, each breath a testament to life, to living. I stand here, grateful. For the flow of expression, the freedom to create. In this space, appreciation deepens. The world opens wide, and I am here to witness it all.

Creation
Now it’s your turn.
You don’t need to be an author to write something that matters.
Sometimes a page gives us enough room to see what we couldn’t see while it was moving through our minds. Write what is true. Ask yourself the difficult questions. Pay attention to what comes back.
You may be surprised by what your own words have been waiting to show you.
